It is Monday, July 23rd 8:31 AM.
I am getting ready for my first ever long roadtrip in the United STates on my own. I am driving to Deer Lame, Montana to attend the 11th International Council of the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers. It has been my deepest desire to meet these amazing grandmothers and now it is going to happen. And it only fitting that as I make my journey to meet this courageous amazing women, I step out of my comfort zone, face my fears and make my solo journey towards them. This journey is not in external distance in meters , kilometers and miles but this journey is from my head to the heart, from my fears to fearlessness, from the small mind to the big mind, from the known to the unknown. I am open, vulnerable and ready to begin.
I realize that I do not have a drum with me.
I throw it out to the universe, guide my hands to the drum that is waiting for me ....
I call upon all the devas, angels, gods and goddesses to guide me on this Journey -
Let me be your instrument in spreading love, peace and belongingness on this journey!
Let me see you and be in your company every moment!
Let me recognize and have the power to see and recognize the real on this journey!
Let me experience the power of love and connection with nature and life!
Let me trust my deepest instincts, and recognize my intuitive power!
Let me break free of concepts, tendencies and ideas that have not served me!
Let me emerge and stand tall in my knowing, in my wisdom, in my body!
Let me Stand Tall in my Feminine Strength and Earth Wisdom!
